Draven is the undisputed king of dragon lane after Wild Rift patch 2.3b buffs

Though a beast in solo queue, Riot Games still isn’t satisfied with Draven’s performance. According to the developers, the Glorious Executioner is “underperforming”, and Wild Rift patch 2.3b is here to make him stronger.

An early game, domineering beast whom no other marksman can outtrade in the laning phase, these buffs truly crown him king of dragon lane.

Buffs to Draven in Wild Rift patch 2.3b

Second ability – Blood Rush

  • Movement Speed increased from 40/45/50/55% to 50/55/60/65%

Third ability – Stand Aside

  • Cooldown decreased from 18/16/14/12s to 15/14/13/12s

Even though Draven’s base damage was not targeted, the 10% increase in movement speed at rank one is huge. The added mobility allows him to play even more aggressively in lane by bridging the gap between him and fleeing foes, or dodge skillshots better.

The key to countering the Glorious Executioner in the dragon lane is to not die, and opposing marksmen and enchanter supports will only find that more difficult to accomplish after Wild Rift patch 2.3b.

Stand Aside, his only crowd control ability, had three seconds shaved off at level one. While he doesn’t use this ability every time it is available, it will open up an extra opportunity to set up for a kill in lane.

“Honestly, I’m not sure Draven needed the buff,” said Wild Rift content creator and shoutcaster Ceirnan “Excoundrel” Lowe in his Wild Rift patch 2.3b rundown. “I think Draven is obnoxious to play against”
