Leaks have started to come out regarding Genshin Impact 2.4, but who is the new 5 Star character Yunjin and when will they be released?
A prominent leaker recently confirmed on Twitter that Yunjin will be coming as part of the 2.4 Update.
Here’s everything that we currently know about Yunjin and when the character will be released on Genshin Impact.
Genshin Impact Update 2.4’s official release date has not been confirmed, however it is expected to be coming out in February 2022.
@Tangzhu_Tz confirmed on Twitter that the new character will be coming to the game. They wrote: “It has been confirmed that there is Yunjin! The attribute did not see the star rating, and the other card pool had no news. Maybe it was a re-enactment. Shen He has no news yet” (translated).
Another prominent leaker in the Genshin community, @Ubatcha1, corroborated the leak, saying: “I can vouch for the same info that 2.4 will bring Yunjin with no news on Shenhe's release (from my info), I can also add that 2.4 should also bring a new area - Likely to be the Chasm.”
Tangzhu_Tz has also leaked several other major elements of the game in the past, including the new ‘energy guiding disc’ that will apparently be released as part of Patch 2.3. They tweeted: “2.3 The activity of the new energy guiding disc has a rather outrageous ground vein anomaly: there are 3 bombing areas that move on their own.
“After the character stays in the area for 2 seconds, it will be bombarded, and the real damage will probably be more than 10,000 (translated).”
